At times we celebrate members birthday after the sessions at NY49 that takes place every Tuesdays and Thursdays. As you can see the ladies man and our top athlete is flanked by two ladies in this pic.
Goodman Mpukane celebrated his I do not know birthday. We were all treated to some cakes and cooldrinks.
 
 
 

You know since I started running my dream is always to see more women folk on the road. I know running has been deemed a man’s sport. To that I say no. If I look around in all the race events that are taking place within our country the only time I see a large contigency of women is when there is a walking event. I know walking is some sort of exercise but there are limited numbers of these events.
My ideal situation is seeing women coming out in numbers …

Recently one of our club members visited the den of lions according to the world of running. We all know how the Kenyans dominate every aspect of running be on the field or on the road. They are the kings. Well our club RCS Gugs knows no boundaries in that one of club members recently took part in one of their races.
He was not pertubed about what he was up against and how fast these guys run all he had in mind was flying the Gugs flag across the continent.
