Runners did not disappoint again as they came out in full force for this event which took place at the power plant. It was at this event that I saw someone taking the opportunity to show their anger towards Eskom for their power cuts by taking a lick on the premises as a way of venting their anger.

We recently handed over R3000 to the JL Zwane Church to help with the needy kids. We did this with the procceeds from our annual Reconciliation Day Race

It is with great sadness that one of our club members Nozipho Nikani was knocked down by a car on Thursday 9 February and died. Nozipho has been part of our club for the past 5 years and a very active member.
She was one of our senior lady runners who dedicated her time to running. She was a humble person and always had a smile. Those who have come across her will surely miss her as she was a people’s person.
