I need to get your views on how best we can manage a facebook page for the club. A club member has indicated to us that he wants to create a facebook page for us and now I need to find out from you how best we can utilise this utility?
Your comments on how we can use it. Is it a right for the club? What benefit will it be for members? Just say what you want to say.

Our athletes came out in numbers at this year’s Peninsula marathon. You know last year I vowed not run this again because of the experiences we had water along the route. Guess what I was there running. The main thing that attracted me to run wa thse fact that it was back on the old route.
You know I never realised that it is such a long distance running from Greenpoint to Simonstown until you hit the road. Well the weather was fine as well.

Recently our province played host to the cream of Africa’s best in running. For the first time we hosted these sons and daughters of this beautiful land right here in Mzantsi.
We got to witness how the Kenyans have come to be known the kings of running. These athletes know what to do when they are on the track. They did not disappoint and they lived up to that standard!
Our club played host to our neighbours Zimbabwe and Madagasca. Seen in these pics are those athletes who braced our shores.

The spirit of Easter comes with spirit of giving. In keeping with what our club stands for and that is reaching out to those who do not have.
We encourage club members to always lend a helping hand in whatever way they can. Our club always associates itself with the people who do not have. We have some of our top athletes who are not working but are putting the club name on the front pages of our newspapers and always bracing the podiums at every race.
