Hi all, the countdown is nearly over. The long awaited, most popular township race in the province is just around the corner. It is all happening on Wednesday 16 December 2009. Judging from its success last year our organising team have not just sat back and realied on yesteryear’s success but have pulled all possible strings to make this event an even better event this year

We have analysed some of the shortfalls from last year and tried to remedy them. We listened to the masses when they requested that we go back to the old route and we did just that. As always with our race we pull all strings to get plenty of spot prizes for athletes and this year it is not any different. Here is the sneak preview of some of the prizes:

We want to make this a family day so bring along your kids not just for the fun run but also for the jumping castle, face painting and come and play exercises.

For the top athletics here me correctly there is an R1000 for each man/woman who breaks some time records. If you are a top athlete be sure to try your luck on this prize money.

Bring your friend, son, daughter, mother, father and just about everyone to take part in this race. People are urged to get there early as the race starts at 7:30am sharp. People there is entry fee as usual and i promise you get a reward for your money’s worth.
