Well it was business as usual for our athletes in the races that took place over the past weekend with Asive and Yonela making it into the top 20 athletes in the country.

the highlight of the weekend was the excellent performance they showed in the annual Don Lock event. although this race has an emphasis on school children our athletes went for the 8km event in which they did what they normally do and that is winning.

If you were there it looked like the whole race was painted in the colours of our club as we took top honours as usual. Here is how they came in :

Team prize went to the following athletes: Asive Skhabahanjana,Yonela Hewu,Nomawabo Jojo and Protasia Dlamini. Team work is very important.

Well done to these top athletes and those athletes who in good positions as well and also for supporting this event. As we are a fast growing club I was very impressed with the turnout at the SA champs where we had over 30 runners.
